Anita Bradford is married to Wendell Bradford and together they have four daughters and five grand daughters, with one grandson due in February 2017. Commissioner Bradford was raised in Indiana by both her parents and moved to Florida in 1994.
She is a Deltona business owner and she is actively involved in many civic organizations throughout the city and county. She understands the importance of economic development in a city and how crucial it is for the survival of our residents and existing businesses. She has been a business professional and a business consultant for numerous businesses over two decades. She has been a successful business leader handling a wide variety of tasks for businesses including: maintaining multiple companies bookkeeping, managing all employees, research, budget review, policies, procedures, and excelling at driving profits.
She is a mentor with the Catalyst Group and wants to develop a program that combines the working relationships between Deltona and surrounding city businesses, schools, mentors, and the city to invest in the future of our children. The goal of the program is to increase the number of students successfully graduating high school and going on to college.
She believes listening to the voice of others, is the voice to be heard. Her passion is for seniors and youth and she wants to develop a program where the two generations come together and help each other develop skills.
